THE MUSEUM WILL PRESENT EXHIBITIONS EXPLORING THE DEPTH AND SCOPE OF VERNACULAR PHOTOGRAPHY
Over the last several years many people have started to collect vernacular photography. As a result there are now many web sites devoted to vernacular photography. Also, a number of books on the subject have been published . The images which appear on these sites and in these books are unique and are thought by the authors to be wonderful examples of the genre. What these collections do in fact is mirror the taste of each individual who has collected them. As a viewer, you are being invited to take in each photograph
and to let it speak for itself.
Welcome to the Museum of Vintage Photography. What we will build here is a set of different pages with information and history. Pages can focus on a specific category, artist, technology.
