Crawford, William.  The Keepers Of  Light.  NY:  Morgan & Morgan.  1979.  pp. 325.

A classic reference book that belongs on the shelf of anyone who is seriously interested in photography.  There is a brief  history of the cyanotype as well as a detailed description of the cyanotype process itself.

Schaaf, Larry J.  Sun Gardens:  Victorian Photograms By Anna Atkins.   NY:  Aperture.  1985.  pp. 104.  Organized by Hans P. Kraus, Jr. 

This is a beautifully illustrated book  about  the cyanotype process and perhaps its greatest practitioner,  Anna Atkins, the earliest woman photographer and the first person to publish  books illustrated with photographs.
